Well i only review places that are terrible or absolutely amazing. We've past this place for years and never been in. It is absolutely amazing the staff are so lovely and really welcoming and helpful. The food is beautiful. We will definitely be returning!! Really relaxed atmosphere and family friendly :)
The food there was quite good, you get a fair bit for relatively cheap and the restaurant itself is quite clean and spacious. It is very cosy and we do enjoy the food there. I do believe that the service is what drags the review down. I do understand that lunchtimes are busy but waiting 10 + minute for a coke and 20+ for a panini and butter chicken meal is a bit too much. It was just really slow and the food arrived at different times so when I received my food, my friend was already halfway through the dish. Moreover, the waiters did not come by once to ask us the customary “is everything okay” question. Which in itself is not an issue but they seemed to have asked this to other tables near us.
Nice place. Felt relaxed and welcoming. Clean and tidy. Only downside was the 2 poached eggs which had been poached until they were completely solid. The waitress offered to get me some more but I was hungry so declined. Otherwise, everything else was lovely. Really nice latte too.
Had a nice cup of tea and shared fries and a flapjack with my son. Prices were reasonable. Tables are spread out but it does get crowded. Prices are reasonable. The Book Swap Bookcase is a good idea. We will come back but only when it's not too busy. One of my friends who has been here said the food was good and he's very picky Update: We have been for tea at about 3.30 twice. Loved the tea cakes and tea. It wasn't too busy and got good seats. The staff were lovely Update 2: We come here 2 or 3 times a week for tea and a snack. It has become our favourite place. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming. Love the cakes and the fries. Today, we were give a free tea each as we are there so regularly! Lots of interesting pictures to look at.
The staff were lovely and welcoming, we ordered the birria tacos and beyond meat burger and they were absolutely Devine.
